As voracious readers of Success magazine, we were saddened by the recent spiritual transition of noted leadership mentor Jim Rohn.
Mr. Rohn championed the spirit on entrepreneurship, while at the same time presented a no-nonsense approach to all aspects of life when dealing with people.
When we saw him in person years ago, we left that seminar with a strong impression that we try to pass on to everyone, no matter how they treat us, lie about us, or ignore us:
People first notice your personality before they care about your profits. Those who do the right things the right way will always come out ahead in the long run. The profits will follow because you treat people well.
This is what he promoted so much in his life. Keeping faith, fighting the enemy, and understanding our purpose is what we remember most about him.
There is one phrase in particular "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear."
He encourages to be all we can be. Jim Rohn speaks of being our personal best, and that life is more than material possessions. What we leave behind on this earth in the minds of others is more important than anything.
