Good Morning!  Good Morning!! Good Morning!!!

. . . And it’s our guess that 85 percent of y’all reading that first line just mumbled “What’s Good About It?”….didn’t you?  Just like an ol’ Scrooge…the little “bah humbugs!” getting us all stressed out when traffic makes you late for an appointment, or someone among us experiences road rage or a fender-bender at the intersection of 75th and Binford….we’re here to say, “Hey, that’s alright if you wanna stay that way.” Really! Life is about choices. Out of those choices, come the rewards or the penalties.

Too many people go around looking for “the perfect business” when the true question people should be asking themselves is do they have “ the perfect perspective?”

And just what IS the perfect perspective? The following can be successfully applied to life, business, relationships and even fear of failure (and of success). . .

Ecclesiastes 3:1 - "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven." God has set up everything in life to run in seasons - including your life. And things that happen before their season - a season He determines - are not going to turn out well.

(Research link: Blooming too soon.)

The perfect perspective is if you know that what you have is ENUF.

E (extra to share without hurting your bottom line)

N (NEVER putting your needs above the good of blessing others or setting up events just so YOU can make money off of other people without caring about their welfare first and foremose above your own.)

U (Understanding that no one has a better product or service that you do. If you are ethical, and your founders are ethical, then your product and service will always bless some family if your heart is right in God’s sight)

F (Financial gain is not the reason you are in business because when you die, you can’t take it with you. No one will remember you for how many cases of juice we sold, how many insurance policies we wrote, how many holiday parties we attended, how many people bought tickets to our events. We will be remembered for the change we made in someone’s legacy…generation after generation.)

So if you are guilty of mumbling “like Scrooge” who forgot what his purpose was, Well, that’s okay to mumble, as long as you don’t stay that way, because if you are the right kind of person and people love being in the same room with you, because of your principles and not your prices, the you are in the right business that God or your higher power (if you believe in spirit matters directing your life) at the right time, with the right people.

We all spent 2009...it ain't comin' back y'all. We all have a choice for 2010. (Choices are not the same as resolutions...for if we break it down, all resolutions really are simply "cheap talk with no consistent action.")

So let's treat all people, whether they are part of our business or not as if the day we read items on the IBN website will be literally our FINAL DAY on this earth. Successful people don’t treat people like genealogies in a business body count. People are not abacus beads. They are absolute blessings….because you’re one of them regardless of what business or business you choose. (smile)

.Just read this little poem / (Slightly modified for the members and friends of IBN…..)

Have you forgotten how to dream…?
Have you forgotten how to set your sights HIGH…
Keep your head to the sky. . .

Have you forgotten?

Have your forgotten how to WIN….?
When people have denied you and lied to you…
and you have to start from scratch again. . .

Have you forgotten. . . ?

Have you forgotten how to SOAR…?
Have your forgotten that it’s not your dream that matters,
but how you can bless someone’s life on the other side of the door….

Have you forgotten…?  and last IBN family, but not least….

Have you how to SMILE. . .?
Knowing whatever it is, if you LOVE what you do,
regardless of money or volume points—do you count YOUR blessings
while driving those miles in snow sleet sun and rain….and your brain is drained…?

Have you remembered you are already a winner?
